You know what? I can't stand readings. People try to get me to listen to David Sedaris mp3s but I just can't do it. People reading from their own book to an audience seems like the most awkward thing in the world.

If anyone gets the chance to see a Rifftrax Live event, though, spend the 25 bucks or whatever and do it.

Coupled with listening in the presence of dozens of horrible fanboy audience that laughs at every single fucking sentence.

This was great...as mentioned later in the comments just listen to it and do something else it makes it better.

His voice is well suited for this.

-1 for giggly audience.

He's a good reader, but a terrible speaker. I feel like he should be behind a curtain for this.
Innocent Bystander
Just let it play in the background and do something else while listening to it.
Feyd
Ouch.

As much as I liked MST3K in its day, the post-show cottage industry these guys are trying to be is... well, kinda getting old.
DrVital
You are a madman.

I just watched the RiffTrax guys rock a full house in San Francisco.

Yeah, I dunno. For me a lot of the magic faded during the first season on Sci-Fi (except for Werewolf, Puma Man, and Incredibly Strange Creatures... which were awesome) and I just kinda lost interest.

Were you at the Castro Theatre event DrVital? Plan 9 From Outer Space? That was the exact show I was referencing in my post. Hella good time.

Pew! Pew! Pew pew pew!

The Giant Spider Invasion, The Final Sacrifice, The Touch of Satan, and Girl in Gold Boots are awesome Sci-Fi episodes, too.
