You know what? Fuck yeah, I'll get it.
It looks like a return to the mindless fun of the original, though with a smaller budget.

So in this film they FINALLY get to kill some of those bugs, huh?

I think I would like to know more!
|Samisyosam - 2008-03-06 |
Holy crap, they actually have blanks to fire in this sequel. This movie probably has ten times the budget of the second film.

Funny thing is, it looks better than Hero of the Federation.
And I guess Casper Van Diem has some bills to pay that the weird, fundamentalist, Jesus-apocalypse-time movies aren't covering.

There was a part 2 ?
|Zoot42 - 2008-03-06 |
There was a Starship Troopers 2?!?!
Straight to video. Called "hero of the federation" and all sequences of Klendathu are ripped and edited straight from the first film with maybe one scene exception. It's awful, and not in charming ST kind of way...just awful.

Still using the same space footage from the first movie, I see. I bet Rico bites it.

Despite how crappy this looks - and no matter how crappy #2 was, I'm still going to get it.
#2, for those who can't dig deep enough in the bargain bin, is basically an homage to Warhammer 40k
Wait, I thought 40K was an homage to Starship Troopers!
Wrong they both stole from Blizzard lol
Blizzard is very creative!

I, for one, am an ape who does not want to live forever.

Twice the vagina monsters, twice the missing the point of satire!
This whole series is like the total opposite of Ender's Game. Only with better dialogue (which isn't saying much)

I'm gonna get this and a bottle of cheap vodka and make a night of it!
