I am sure this has been submitted but couldn't find it on here.

baleen - 2008-03-01

Blow by blows local news coverage!

Dinky Patterson - 2008-03-01

It's in the Hopper under "School Bus Fight" with +6 votes and 2 days to go.

Quad9Damage - 2008-03-02

The news article and the video report on the side contradict each other. The print says the girl was in trouble for repeatedly touching another student, the video broadcast says her cell phone was distracting the driver. The latter reason is kind of bogus, because we clearly see the bus driver ignore another girl talking on her cell phone near the FRONT ROW.

Both parties acted pretty stupid, but the bus driver should've known that you DON'T grab a student in any way to begin with. That's just common sense. Any kind of physical contact nowadays is strictly prohibited.

Lauritz Melchior - 2008-03-01

Five stars for reminding me of Middle School!

IrishWhiskey - 2008-03-01

One star for my hatred of everyone involved
Three stars for "GET THE FUCK OFF MY MOM!"

Charles - 2009-02-05

My thoughts exactly, except one billion additional stars, for the stalemate deathstare the girl and busdriver got into just before superdaughter jumped in.

KillerGazebo - 2008-03-01

Five stars simply for the striped shirt kid at 8:08 who leaps over the seat to stand awkwardly and do nothing.

fatatty - 2008-03-01

Quad9Damage - 2008-03-02

That kid would've been me if I was in that situation.

EvilHomer - 2008-03-01

I love the nerds at the end.

"Are you OK?"

RedHood - 2008-03-02

Yes, thats what made this video for me too.

RockBolt - 2008-03-01

I would have bailed out of one of the emergency exits a good 9 minutes earlier

Smellvin - 2008-03-01

Nah. You'd want to watch.

That bus driver really didn't want to give up what little authority in the world she has. If you have to make yourself feel more powerful by bossing around children, you might have a problem.

TheQuakeSoldier - 2008-03-01

"bossing around children"? What would you do in this kind of situation? You do realize that the bus driver would be held legally responsible for anything that happens to a child that's let off the bus in the middle of town, right?

The driver was following rules by keeping her on the bus. Having to cart a bus full of animals every day is the work of a hero.

baleen - 2008-03-02

A true hero throws a kids phone out the window when she's talking to her mother! Seriously, if you are an adult, do you find that competent?

TheQuakeSoldier - 2008-03-02

I didn't say she was competant. I was just questioning Little Bobby's take on the situation up there. "Give up authority"? what?

Smellvin - 2008-03-02

The bus driver was the one ratcheting up the conflict. Every time the stupid kid wouldn't give in, the bus driver just had to push it further rather than just say, "Oh... I guess I'd better be the mature one here." Both parties were wrong, but the kid's a kid... they act like kids.

TheQuakeSoldier - 2008-03-02

So, what's the mature thing to do? Get in the driver's seat and hit the gas, dropping the girl on her ass? Let her off and get sued when she get's hit by a car? I'm confused as to what exactly this bus driver was supposed to do, other than radio for help while blocking the girl from exiting the bus.

baleen - 2008-03-03

what happened:

Alternatively, she could have pulled over at a safe place, told her to get off the bus, then barred her from ever getting on it again. Bus drivers are allowed to let people off wherever they find it safe. I had a bus driver that did this. He was a nice guy. Maybe he was living on the edge of the law or something (is that really a fucking law? do you really know that or are you just making that up? how do you know? i don't believe you) but it seemed to make the girl who he let off very happy.

GIRL: Mom, she won't let me off the bus. Do you want to talk to my mom?

BUS DRIVER: Hello, is this Sammy's mother? Yes, she is being very disruptive so I've had to pull the bus over. I can't let her out here, but I will let her out at the next available stop.

Doctor Arcane - 2008-03-01

Where's an RPG when you need one?

Doctor Arcane - 2008-03-01

ps also why not just go out the back door?

baleen - 2008-03-01

I think the girl was a little confused as what the big deal was.
The bus driver should have spoken to her mother, not thrown her fucking phone out the window. You can call the kid a whiny little bitch, but the driver was not in control of what was happening. I love how both of them use the camera to defend themselves when both of them were fucking retarded.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-03-01

I'm so glad I'm not a teenager anymore. I can't even begin to tell you describe.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2008-03-02

You're certainly not alone. Christ that was painful to watch.

Gwago - 2008-03-01

"GET OFF MY MOM YOU BITCH!" was one hell of a plot twist...

dancingshadow - 2008-03-03

Yeah! that was outta nowhere! Also, I agree entirely with this video's description.

Alektorophobic - 2008-03-06

Agreed. The video was getting repetitive until that moment that came out of left field.

I also noticed all the nerds and fat kids sitting there while the rest of the kids got off the bus, leaving little nerdy girl to check on the bus driver.

It's funny that the bus driver was glad her stupid antics got caught on tape, thinking it would vindicate her or something. Boy, she sure taught that girl not to talk on the bus!

sosage - 2008-03-01

'CBS 5 viewer e-mails showed an overwhelming support for Sullivan, with several expressing the sentiment that "this is the reason there are driver shortages."'

So CBS 5 viewers are for more punching school bus drivers?

baleen - 2008-03-01

A recent Zogby poll found that the only people left who get the majority of their news from television are the elderly (19-35 age group gets our news mostly from various internet sources), which is probably why they are getting those kinds of e-mails.

minimalist - 2008-03-04

I'm not sure I would correlate "elderly" with "lots of e-mails"

kingarthur - 2008-03-01

Where...is the help....that I asked for?

Cap'n Profan!ty - 2008-03-01

Five stars for the voltage remaining very stable. I don't think it went below 13.3v or above 13.8v even once! Well done. More video footage needs that vital sort of data.

fermun - 2008-03-02

WRONG! it goes up to 13.9 volts twice in the first 30 seconds.

theSnake - 2008-03-01

What the fuck, you guys are siding with that little cunt? The bus driver can't let kids off the bus wherever they decide to throw a bitch fit, they have to let them off at the correct stop or the school system could be held accountable for what happens to them. Fucking smarmy emo girl should have done what she was told and get off her fucking cell phone.

Also, I submitted this and its in the hopper, POACH'D.

baleen - 2008-03-02

Out of curiosity, did you put "bus" as one of the tags? I don't even look at the hopper. This wasn't "poached." I don't steal videos from the hopper.
I don't have to, I find them ALL MYSELF BECAUSE I'M GREAT.

garcet71283 - 2008-03-01

I would've punched her.

Then kicked her.

Then tossed her out of the moving bus into oncoming traffic.

Can you say "period"?

Quad9Damage - 2008-03-01

Kids today with their cell phones and their attitudes.

And anybody who went to middle school knows that fight was the hot topic for at least a week afterwards.

Enjoy - 2008-03-02

Gawd that bus driver needs a good punch. Kudos to the girls for standing up to her.

Aelric - 2008-03-02

dude, this is 4chan vs. Scientology: everybody is wrong. you got a spoiled little cunt, a bumblefuck driver, a shrieky little best friend, super-daughter and a bus full of hooting idiots that should have pulled hit the ejector seat long before any of this shit happened.

i mean, come on. that dumb bitch didn't think to just use the emergency exit right away? and the driver thought that the middle of the bus route was a good time for a heart to heart? christ, this is why public schools are in the shitter, and i live in a dump!

EvilHomer - 2008-03-02

I don't see what super-daughter did wrong, unless you count the fact she waited for so long to step in. And the rest of the kids were just enjoying the ride; it's not every day the monotony of riding home at 5:05 (!) is broken by a catfight between Helga von Busdriver and that one emo chick with way too much makeup who sits in front of you during third period English class.

Jeff Fries - 2008-03-02

Magical Man from Happy-Land - 2008-03-02

fucking teenagers

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-03-02

She isn't spoiled, she just has spunk! I'll take her over Fatty McPowertrip any fucking day.

Also, the exodus at the end was just inspiring.

Screwtape - 2008-03-02

I liked that two of them stayed, even after everyone was gone. They were either in shock or that's how momma raised them.

Mike Tyson?! - 2008-03-02

Yes letting a minor off the bus when not at her stop is the correct action.

bias - 2008-03-02

yeah really what a spoiled bitch, getting all upset about being repeatedly assaulted by a real life Mrs. Crabtree. And yah a minourly clearly cant be let off the bus and should be held there with physical force! Why i guess she could get off if she had parental consent to get off the bus, and how the hell was she going to get that? some sort of magical portable phone?? yup anyone under the age of 20 and female is clearly a rich bich on the rag huurpidy durpidy durp

Christ i find it scary that some of the fucktards that post stupid shit on here may be on a jury some day.

EvilHomer - 2008-03-02

As long as it's a jury for a murder trial, and I can put away a teenager for twenty-to-life, I can die a happy man. Now hold still while I whack you with my cane, you wiseass young punk!

Honest Abe - 2008-03-02

nuke the site from orbit

revdrew - 2008-03-02

It doesn't appear the girl was doing anything so wrong as to require the driver to pull over in the middle of the route to give her a strong talking to. That plus throwing the cell phone out the window makes her the loser in this horrible fucking scene.

Quad9Damage - 2008-03-02

For those who are interested:

frau_eva - 2008-03-02

What's with all the people saying "OMG there was nothing the bus driver could dooooo?!"You really don't think that any profession that comes in contact with children hasn't regulated the optimum action in every single situation? Have any of you rode a school bus with something other than a McMansion route? A lot worse than poking and cell-phone talking happens all the time, and I've never seen it handled this badly.

A Jumping Spider! - 2008-03-02

It's a bus full of middle schoolers heading home. What the hell could that one girl have been doing to get the driver's attention focused solely on her? Then earn a lecture on the side of the road?

Geoff Marr - 2008-09-07

I hate the main girls friend. She's just trying so hard to get involved so that she can tell everyone "me and (main girl) got into a fight with the bus driver who wants to high five!?"

Umaro - 2008-10-27

Yeah, she's like smiling and laughing through it the whole time too. What a dumbass.

Jen igma - 2008-11-24

I can't believe there are people on here giving the driver the benefit of the doubt. you do NOT assault a kid, and if the issue was OH NOO CAN'T LET HER OFF UNLESS IT'S AT THE EXACT RIGHT STOP then you do NOT throw the phone off the fucking bus instead of talking to the mother. YOU DO NOT GET INTO A FIST FIGHT WITH SAID KID EITHER. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?

Good for that girl for sticking up for herself.

Charles - 2009-02-05

"Where's the help... That I ordered?" *throws radio mouthpiece*
"I'm here now... um........................................ I'm here, now."
