Its far from his best moment, but I have to five star it because "that's where you and I differ".
Hooker - 2008-03-05
Right. That's the moment I'm referring to.

Dummy Rum - 2008-03-05

The General Grant is my single favorite gag in the history of that show.
Roachbud - 2008-03-05

That's the singular moment

Roachbud - 2008-03-05
no his show makes me laugh all the time

Hooker - 2008-03-05
Yeah, "singular" was the wrong word; I can't think of the one I meant. I think this is his highest moment of improve brilliance.

Also, I'm Canadian and I can't watch this, which kills me as well :(

theSnake - 2008-03-05
Singular moment??? Colbert is hilarious, but just has to dilute his genius to fill 30 minutes every night of the week so its not all gold like this.
TinManic - 2008-03-05
Comedy Central is anti-Canadian. i hope they get hit buy out of control NASCARs.
AgentOrange - 2008-03-05
Are you being serious here? Or did you just accidentally one star this?

Roachbud - 2008-03-05
yeah, go back to fucking polar bears and eating ham but calling it bacon, douchebag

dancingshadow - 2008-03-05
Agreeing with TinManic about Comedy Central and NASCARs.
Agreeing with Roachbud about our weird ass bacon.
What a day.

EvilHomer - 2008-03-05
Five stars for Roachbud's comment. And the General Grant.

Havah! Nagila! Havah! Nagila! Havah! Nagila! Venis'mecha!

Making fun of the south = endless entertainment.
sosage - 2008-03-05
The NAACP banter is fucking hilarious.
Andonyx - 2008-03-05
Okay I'll be the pedant here. Singular doesn't mean "Only" or "Single." It means unique or exceptional. The submitter's use here works even if it's not THE best or THE only moment of this level of humor.
RockBolt - 2008-03-05
+20 for the General Grant
Whitewater5 - 2008-03-06
that's where you and i differ

That moment of stony silence was great.

I get to meet Ben Jones (Cooter) once when i was a kid. he was just getting into politics and was touring Georgia campaigning in the General Lee. I was sooo stoked to see that car. I was 5.

this is not Colberts best work but a fine example.

5 stars for "that's where you and i differ"
