Billy the Poet - 2008-04-03
So this is Hellboy beating up the characters from Pan's Labyrinth?
SolRo - 2008-04-03
You're saying that like it's a bad thing

StanleyPain - 2008-04-03
Mike Mignola let DelToro create most of the characters this time out as it was a completely new plotline (not based on any of the comics) that he came up with himself. He's cool with it.

Xenocide - 2008-04-04
I hope he beats up Captain Vidal, then. What a prick.

revdrew - 2008-04-03
Works for me.
dementomstie - 2008-04-03
Still look forward to Indy more, but this is defenitely on my list of things to see now.

Dear George Lucas: See how you blend CG with puppetry, costume and set design so that you don't turn a beloved media franchise into a bluescreen abortion? DO YOU SEE, TURKEY NECK?!!
Cinnamon Imperialist - 2008-04-04
Honestly, the awesome puppetry/prosthetics only make the cgi stand out even more for me.

wtf japan - 2008-04-04
Well, I think del Toro did an excellent job seamlessly mixing those elements, including cgi, to create the character Pan. It doesn't stand out that much if it's skillfully done.

Udderdude - 2008-04-03
I like what I see.
OxygenThief - 2008-04-04
Good trailer for what promises to be a great movie.

-1 for the nu-metal symphony, though. It's just a rule I have.
CTHlu_teddybear - 2008-05-08
what dont you like Rammstein-mein hertz brent-

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-04-04
Big Baby is actually a large and powerful gun, not an infant of any sort.
AgentOrange - 2008-04-04
+5 for this clarification.

zatojones - 2008-04-04
Also when he says it's been woken up he means he's been forced to take it out and use it

VorpalGuy - 2008-05-08
Now there's just one question:

Are the grenades it fires plain ol' HE or do they visit upon the enemy some delicious Willie Pete sauce?

Camonk - 2008-04-04
Shit, now he's gotta fight morlocs. That kinda sucks for him.
Xenocide - 2008-04-04

Hellboy 1 was by far Deltoro's worst film, but this looks like it might make up for it. I'm cautiously optimistic. It's still no Indy, though.
kingarthur - 2008-04-04
Deltoro's WORST film? By FAR?

Have you not seen Mimic or, God help you, BLADE 2?

Those being pretty much the only two bad films he's ever made though.

Randroid - 2008-04-04
It might be his worst film, but it's still one of the few good comic book adaptation in recent years.

Syd Midnight - 2009-09-01
The only good thing about the movie was Hellboy himself, because Ron Perlman just nails the character.

CornOnTheCabre - 2008-04-04
way better than the last trailer
Shion - 2008-04-04
Oh yes, give it to me.
kiint - 2008-04-04
5 just for fuckin' ABE
theSnake - 2008-04-04
This looks good. Hopefully they discontinue that WRETCHED love story subplot from the last movie.
DrVital - 2008-04-04
Looks like it's going to focus more on the full BPRD, and I'm all good with that.
StanleyPain - 2008-04-04
Well, Johann Krauss is in it, but to what extent is unknown.

Unfortunately, no Lobster Johnson. :)

FABIO2 - 2008-04-04
I can't decide which is going to be worse: Hellboy's hundreds of misfired one liners, or Indy's Shea LeBouffe.
ztc - 2008-04-04
What bouquets of sunbeams your family's lives must be

Squeamish - 2008-04-04
All it needs is Roger, and it would be perfect.

Well. MORE perfect.
BornAgainCannibal - 2008-04-07
Nail on the head.

MurgatroidMendelbaum - 2008-06-29
I've decided to reserve judgment until after I've seen the movie proper.

No, wait... that's boring.

Geoff Marr - 2008-07-19
This was the worst movie I've ever seen in my life.
themilkshark - 2008-08-26
1,000,000 times better than Indy. Middle America still thinks Hellboy is about worshiping Satan.
