How did that not destroy his knee cap?

baleen - 2008-04-10

It probably did.

AgentOrange - 2008-04-10

He did walk on it. Perhaps it was the shock.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-04-10

I'd say it may have, but beind a kid, it'll knit back nicely. Coulda been worse. If he'd been kicked in the head, we probably wouldn't be watching a toddler get horse-kicked.

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2008-04-10

Ah, he'll be fine. That was a 'surprise' yelp, not a 'pain' cry.

baleen - 2008-04-10

I looked it over frame by frame (I'm having a hard time getting work done right now) and the leg is kinda bent in a very unnatural way. He was walking on it, but that can happen if your body is pumped with adrenaline and you have a broken leg. A simple horse kick like that can exert a thousand or two PSI. Just the way that his leg bent after (it arched the wrong way) makes me think he was in a LOT of pain.

Whoever ripped this kindly spared us the agony of watching a child scream in pain.

Everybody wins: kid learns key horsemanship lesson through supreme agony, dad learns to control his kid better through crippling medical bills, internet voyeurs relearn the pleasure of other people's pain.

Look at it this way: By instilling a lifelong fear of the horses' business end, he insures the kid won't grow up to be a horsefucker.

Also having looked over it frame by frame, I'd say yeah, from the fact that he now has one regular knee, and one backwards-canted bird knee, he barely managed to stumble two steps before making it worse and collapsing.

Also, what the fuck agony are you talking about us having been spared from? Every time I see a toddler who's PARENTS don't even care enough about him (have you noticed its always a him?) getting tripped by a guy in a marching band for running through the middle of the formation, or see him get hit in the face with a wooden croquet ball for leaning right into the oncoming ramp, or see him aquire a permanent, life-long limp at the age of three because he doesn't listen to his father doesn't respect animals... I just lauuuuuugh and LAAAAAUGH and laugh, cuz if his parents don't care enough, you couldn't PAY me to.

I like to pretend it's always the same toddler in all of these videos, just with different hair each time.

ProfessorChaos - 2008-04-10

I don't know. If all the screams of pain sounded funny in slow motion - Like the first one did - i might not have minded.

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2008-04-10

You're a dull boy, Billy

TeenerTot - 2008-04-10

Looks like the kid was hanging back out of fear of being bitten. Live and learn, I guess.

Hodge - 2008-04-10

That should teach him.

APPROACH FROM THE SIDE

PAT THE HORSE GENTLY AS YOU CIRCLE IT

kingarthur - 2008-04-10

I remember this one time in junior high where this girl "dumped" me for this other boy. The boy was then kicked in the head by a horse the next week. He swole up all purple and yellow like something you'd see on The Discovery Health Channel.

Karma is one sick, delicious bitch.

jangbones - 2008-04-10

I bet this kid totally cheated in pokeymans earlier in the week

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-04-10

By horse standards, that seems more like a light kick than anything serious.
