In both their cases, it isn't about watching the videos and not feeling anything. It's about ceasing to gush like menstrual women over the exact same stale concept, time and time again. Kittens are cute: it's understood and accepted. Play a video once, everybody will gush. But play it over and over, eventually people will get bored.
While I'll probably get called thFlu again for my opinion (seriously, whoever he is), TinManic and Andru are both right: cat videos are devoid of meaningful content. They're [un]intentional trolling tools. Look how wound up people get over whether or not people a cat video is 5-stars, or 1-star...
