It's kind of funny, because on paper, yeah, it's kind of shit that there are a fucktillion old Doctor Who episodes missing... but this is just creepy and unnerving. (also, what about the missing runs of shows that nobody cares about? Huh?)

We made fun of these on The Gamer's Quarter forum and the guy who made them popped up within minutes to defend them.
He also made the Thief and The Cobbler Recobbled Cut and Star Wars: Deleted Magic, so he's A-OK in my book.

Thing is, they've already done official animated episodes to fill in deleted ones for some of the released DVDs, and they're better, so it's not as if the criticism is entirely unfounded.
If you want to see mind-blowing, though, check out the fan-made restorations of the first Dalek story with Patrick Troughton (i forgot the title at the moment). They used the audio recordings with still photos and made flash animations that are, surprisingly, not entirely unpleasant.
