Dad interrupts and can not remember teaching his son to do drugs.

My favorite anti-drug PSA ever, although the "Your dime bag bought Osama Bin Laden a new bazooka" series comes close.

That look at the end isn't shame or guilt. Dad just realized where his stash has been disappearing to.

I'm surprised this wasn't here already. Ah, childhood.

The government spent a lot of money and came up with this. That really puts the failures in Iraq in perspective for me.

I still use the line "From you alright?! I learned it by watching you!" surprisingly often

This has a special place in my heart because, when they first started airing it, my dad would take over the father's dialog and have him scold the son for paying too much for low-quality weed.
"Who sold you this shit? How much did you pay? JESUS, boy! You need to ask for your money back. Mom and I smoked a joint and didn't feel a thing. This shit couldn't get a fly high."

Blast from the past.

Seconds later, the dad peeks out the door to check if the mother was buying it, and gives the son a thumbs-up. This should shut her up for a while.

I think dad is growing about eight plants in that moustache alone.

Probably the most fondly remembered anti-drug campaign amongst D.A.R.E. graduates, next to "MOM & DAD: I USE DRUGS" leaflets, and book covers you could edit to say "D.A.R.E. to..smoke pot".

Yeah, keep interrupting him. That'll get you some answers. Dickhead.

I loved this commercial! I graduated from DARE twice and I loooove drugs!

"Parents who use drugs, have children who use drugs."
Not necessarily. My Dad was an absolute teetotaler because he saw his Dad literally piss himself drunk every night. When you see what drugs (and I do include alcohol in this) can do to a person on a day-to-day basis, they lose their appeal rather quickly.
