What, no Jabberjaw?

(I propose a follow-up investigation into bad cartoons featuring hip teen rock bands. Even better if they also solve mysteries - I'm looking at you, Amazing Chan Clan.)

Jesus Christ the 70's hated kids. I couldn't make it through any of these except Captain Caveman.

The Archies and their playlist of songs that were rejected by the Monkees are ultimately responsible. Scooby Doo in fact was just a twist on the Archies formula because it added ghosts, which made The Archies seem fairly vanilla.

One could spend a whole week compiling all the various SatAM formulas... the teen rock band formula, the talking dog formula, the based-on-hit-tv-show formula, the based-on-product formula...

Oy, I'm losing IQ points just thinking about it, and I truly feel sorry for the animators who had to work on the production assembly lines.

The only people I'm willing to say are in hell for certain are Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, William Hannah and Joseph Barbara.

No Jabberjaw and no Speed Buggy? Weird.
