I've been practicing and teaching Muay Thai for years and even I feel bad for the boxer. The look on his face after the first kick crumples him says it all. But I have to wonder what the hell he was thinking:
"So, it's like boxing, only he can also kick my legs and my body and my head and he can also knee me in the stomach and face and he can also elbow me in the face? Sign me up!"

mr666 - 2008-05-02 I doubt the first kick was that bad. It looked more like surprise than a devasting blow. But yeah, that's when you could tell he was totally unprepared and outclassed.

Boxing was never intended as a complete fighting art, plus many of the techniques and tricks taught reflect very specific rules unique to the sport of boxing. Fights using boxing vs. other style have always been stupid. Plus, Arthur Williams isn't exactly the best boxer, having always lost to any one of real skill, usually in the first round.
