I had to wade through amv hell to find this unaltered.

I wonder what makes people think that otherwise good scenes/clip will become better with Linking Park/Papa Roach and horrible editing.
SolRo - 2008-05-12
I share that sentiment

It's all through the shorts. Often pretty quiet, like an easter egg.

Kill another few dozen droids, Mace Windu.

Do it for the children.
B. Weed - 2008-05-12
These Tartakovsky shorts were really fun. (Wonder why the ending got clipped from this one, though.)

thank you for sharing nicely unfettered kissassery
chumbucket - 2008-05-12
check that: KICK-assery

dementomstie - 2008-05-12
Wow, now I kind of wish I'd watched any of the episodes of this show. I worried that it would be too much like Episodes 1&2 but I see that they actually made it fairly awesome.
poopskin - 2008-05-12
who's the kid supposed to be?
Keefu - 2008-05-12
Just some kid

OgreMkIV - 2008-05-12
It's the kid that gives Mean Joe Green a coke (it's cut off in this clip).

B. Weed - 2008-05-12
Ah, my husband and I weren't the only ones who thought of the old Coke ad! (I was sort of hoping Mace would throw the kid a piece of his cloak...)

Billy the Poet - 2008-05-12
Exciting action? In MY Star Wars?!?
Cube - 2008-05-12
The man's got some serious Qi powers.
GuyCorngood - 2008-05-12
The kids would have enjoyed the new star wars movies more if they had force kung fu and giant crushing machines.
oddeye - 2008-05-12
I'm having serious trouble deciding if they made mace too good in this cartoon or if they didn't make him good enough in the movies.

Works well in a cartoon but if this was a live action movie, it would probably suck balls matrix sequels style.
RandomFerret - 2008-06-07
The latter, for sure. Look at Grievous, for crying out loud. Tartakovsky made him walking death, and when he pulled out two extra lightsabres, it was a genuine holy shit moment. Lucas used the extra arms right away, and his fight scene still didn't last two minutes.

Every time I watch this it pisses me off more that the new one is computer generated. This was absolute art.

What the fuck. This doesn't seem like it sucks.

And Tartatovksy comes waltzing in and proves that he understands what makes Jedi cool better than anybody else.

Especially George Lucas.

I haven't seen anything this exciting since Superman took on the Penguin AND all six of his goons. Come on, Tartakovsky, you did "Samurai Jack", you know there's no tension if the hero doesn't work up a sweat and get at least a little beat up.
