This is like imagining my parents having sex, only less exciting and uglier. I want to see him sing the Viva Viagra song.

I'm afraid this fucking song drove me crazy when it came out and it drives me crazy now. I'm going to rate it 3 stars because I want this pain to be remembered.

I'm fiving for a couple of reasons:

1. I'm surprised as hell that Billie Buttfuck submitted a Billy Bragg video and didn't write him off as a "commie fag" or something. Of course, i could be confusing hm/her with Billy Buttsex, but whatever.

2. I truly like Billy Bragg as a person. Really. I just think he's a better thinker than a songwriter.

3. The fact that this is a song about sexuality being out in the open and its SO TAME speaks VOLUMES about the British.

I saw Bragg twice in concert when he played at my university.

If I had to choose between musical lectures and the boring old regular lectures, Bragg would win every time.

One time some friends of mine won tickets to a festival show and they invited me along but nobody knew who was going to be playing until we got there and saw the marquee...turned out it was the Barenaked Ladies (whom I've tried to listen to and get into but ultimately can't stand) with Billy Bragg as the opener.

The difference between me & my friends/all the 13-year-old girls who were there with their parents was that I'd heard of Billy Bragg and knew what his music was like. I heard the dad of one of the preteen girls there mumble something like, "what the hell is this guy, some kinda commie?!" And yes, he played this song.

Halfway through Billy Bragg's set, people had cleared out to the point where there was me, my friends and maybe 20 other people in the audience of a huge outdoor ampitheatre.

Everybody came back for the Barenaked Ladies, and I hated every second of those fucking buffoons. For some reason they thought it would be wacky and crazy to have a guy cooking hamburgers and hot dogs on a barbecue while they played.

This was a feel good video. Fie on those who give it one star. Fie, I say.

Truly, though, this was great. I'm sending it to everyone I know.
