I wanted to see where this guy represented, so I googled "Sam Graves." His official site, in the first two links that pop up, lists him as "the Honorable Sam Graves, Congresswoman from the Sixth Congressional District of Missouri."

Wikipedia, for what it's worth, says he funded a program to cure Goth kids. I don't know if that makes me more or less in favor of him.
5 stars for being so homophobic that you can't even show two people of the same sex dancing together. Even when they try go after gays, the PR people line them up girl-boy-girl!

If Sam Graves is against those goddamn crumpled straw cowboy hats, he's got my vote.

Kay Barnes sounds like my kind of candidate! Thanks for telling me about her, Sam Graves! I'd better go vote!

Graves response ad is pretty great in the exact opposite direction. Feel free to submit:

It's like half a commercial for a 976 number and half political ad. A political ad that totally makes me want to vote for Kay Barnes!

I'd say 2006 was a pretty good sign of the Republican collapse... when 46% of military families voted GOP... and when districts that had been voting for Republicans for a century suddenly voted for a Democrat... stuff like that...
They are on the defensive and don't have much to show for it.
