Dunno why they wasted a bullet on the nurse. Her eyes were popped, she couldn't see them anyway. And it's not like she put too much effort into grabbing the chica on her way by to get the defib paddles. This scene was just one of many things wrong with this movie.

You realize this is the karmic revenge of FMV video games, right? Cuz the script for this was pretty much: 1. what's going on? 2. state the obvious and 3. bad pun 4. repeat. Though part of me doesn't want to admit this movie was as bad as it was because it's Romero.
Camonk
You wouldn't feel that way if you'd seen Land of the Dead.

Corman's Inferno
I thought Land of the Dead was pretty good. However, I was wary about this one after reading an interview with Romero where he railed against kids these days and their newfangled blogs and internets. Oh, George.

Lindner
Even Dennis Hopper couldn't save that piece of shit. I will admit though... this is much much worse than even Land of the Dead.

Jesus this is fucking horrible.
Is the whole movie this fucking retarded Cloverfield camera gimmick?
charmlessman
Yes, yes it is.

chumbucket
don't forget the annoyingly constant appearance of the "film professor" dipping into his flask and doing some silly "drunk wisdom"

charmlessman
"What do you think professor?"

(pulls from flask) "Well I think wuzzuhfigurahemmaI'mBritishfemmeruhderf, you poncy tart."

Cleaner82
I was willing to give this movie the benefit of the doubt, but these performances are Plan 9 bad.
FABIO2
Oh, hard as nails take charge hot chick stock character, what won't you say next!

Oh George (FROWNY FACE)

"We gotta get her to a doctor".

"Yeah, a live one".

Will movie producers ever make a "recorded on videotape" movie which actually looks like it's recorded on videotape rather than recorded through the viewfinder of a video camera? Last I was aware, no camcorder on the planet actually baked the battery/tape speed/etc. indicators into the output video.

I know, this is right up there with complaining about movies where people work on computers which project the images onto peoples' faces, but still.

I feel the same way. Seriously, if we are going to do this shitty gimmick, can't we do it right? Hollywood I think has gone far beyond underestimating the audience to downright hating them and trying to make them angry

And I quote: "HE HACKED INTO MY CAR!!!!"

citrusmirakel
There's also a part of this movie where there's security camera footage spliced in, bringing the inevitable question "Where did you get the security camera footage from?", and then a little bit later, the one hacker character explains that he hacked it from the airwaves.

Oh, and another part where the main character is all giddy cause his MySpace page got 72,000 hits in 8 minutes.

charmlessman
Kingarthur, OH GOD that was one of the WORST moments I've seen on the silver screen. I never even got past the trailer of that piece of tripe movie. As soon as she said someone hacked her car's computer, I checked out. Stupid stupid stupid.

Caminante Nocturno
charmlessman, would it surprise you to learn that isn't even close to being the most ludicrous part of that movie?

Pillager
It's a zombie movie, what did you expect?

Errr not too good there George. Land of the Dead should have been nothing but Asia Argento doing anything. He's never been the most consistent director however. "Martin" is great--go rent "Martin".
