Am I right in thinking that Jack Black could be doing way better things with his career? Or is this just what he is?

I saw an interview he gave when promoting Shark Tale in which he basically said he likes doing animated movies because they're easier than acting and pay just as well.

I think children will really like it, you know, since this is a movie for children and all.

Don't children deserve good movies, too?

Went to see Indiana Jones this week. The trailers for this and Wall-E played on the same reel. The difference in quality was even more striking than I'd thought it would be.

Audible groans in the theater during this trailer, though there were some laughs, too.

Also, I'm officially sick of Jack Black now.

"Skidoosh" always gets a huge laugh

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2008-05-29
I always liked the show, so I'll be happy to watch this. Plus, these sort of things normally have pretty good gags in them. Except for Garfield. But we won;t be counting Garfield, huh?

Oh wow, it looks more like they're ripping off Skunk Fu and less like they're acknowledging the similarity.

Hollywood Cheese of the finest vintage. I guess I won't feel too much guilt if I watch this on a borrowed DVD instead of buying it, then.

It must have taken epic restraint not to stick in a record scratch when they introduced the panda.

I don't know, it looks like it could be good to me.
The animation looks a little less detailed, but a little more stylish than most CGI films.
Not necessarily a bad thing IMO.
