Kind of heavy-handed and witless. Also, "Personal Trainer: Alan Greenspan"?

dichotic1 - 2008-06-15

"...never, never, ever."

GoneGirl - 2008-06-15

Heavy-handed beyond all comprehension, but I find joy in the "I told you, honey" sequence.

FABIO2 - 2008-06-15

Jesus. Written by every college freshman ever.

The fact that their logo is a fetus with wind up key says pretty much all you need to know about them.

nonplusplus - 2008-06-15

And what is that exactly?

Cleaner82 - 2008-06-15

We're not supposed to be this dumb, this level of dumb is everything we're fighting. This is a terrorist fist-jab at good sense.

Stog - 2008-06-15

Ohhhhh I get it nowwwwww

StanleyPain - 2008-06-15

Stupid, but I can't bring myself to be too hard on it since Republicans don't seem to have a problem electing and associating themselves with the fucktards who inspire this kind of two-dimensional portrayal of them.
Like the David Cross bit (paraphrased):
"I don't think all Republicans are racists and bigots. Just the people they elect to represent them in the government."

Cena_mark - 2008-06-15

Lame. These issues are not that simple. The only people dumb enough to swallow this are democrats.

glasseye - 2008-06-15

Only irrational loonies vote for republicans.

Herr Matthias - 2008-06-15

And this is where we start a massive fagdance on the comments section where everybody votes based on whether or not they believe in the political agenda espoused without even watching the video.

The 4 points I found a bit ridiculous are:
♠Wal-Mart, which you either have to make laws to make them have unequal competition or you know, just not shop there.
♠FDA part, which I thought a big complaint was that prescription drugs are so expensive... but the extensive FDA testing is primarily what causes that.
♠GM Food, which has had more testing than any other food, and it doesn't matter if it's been exposed to radiation so long as it still isn't radioactive.
♠Hybrid cars aren't really that much more fuel efficient and we still haven't gotten a long-term plan for what to do with all of the waste the batteries are.

I don't know, both sides assume the other is stupid and use scare tactics, but I thought these 4 were the most oversimplified.

KnowFuture - 2008-06-15

Another thing that sucks about the dumbed-down-to-the-lowest-common-denominator style of this clip is it gives ammo to equally retarded people on the Right---I can damn near guarantee you if you look through enough YouTube comments for this, you'll see something along the lines of:

SEE THEYRE THE PARTY OF HATE THEY HATE CONSERVATIVES AND THEREFORE HATE AMERICA AND FAMILIES AND BABY JESUS OMG AL QUAEDA HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA ACLU 9/11 etc.

heyitslozeau - 2008-07-14

yes, its heavy handed and badly acted but it is an accurate portrayal of modern republicanism based on republican actions, how is that not true? Its not saying all republicans think this way, its saying supporting current republican popular ideas is in line with it.

phalsebob - 2008-07-23
