I think that article also brings up his anti-American broadcasts when a POW in Vietnam, his father's manufacturing of mcCain as a war hero, his father's decision to bomb the city he was being held in, his crashing of five planes, and how he used his first wife's father's political connections to get into political office and then dumped her for the uber-rich model...which is the wife he called cunt, by the way.
