The song is from the concert/stage show called "Coming Out of Their Shells" tour. It's pretty much all like that song.
Except for Splinter's song which was, of course, soulful and wise.
I owned the cassette and saw it live in concert when I was 8. I probably still know the words to the songs.

Oh man, I remember this. I think the farthest I ever got on a dollar was the Mesozoic era or whatever.
I remember the SNES port fondly but never got much of a chance at this one. Coin-ops need a revival. It's disturbing seeing these tiny ghost-town arcades with nothing worth a damn in every mall.
The SNES version was a lot better than the arcade. More levels, better controls and Rat King + Slash. Now this damn song will be stuck in my brain for the rest of the week.
I always had trouble with Slash. He's the boss at the dinosaur realm right?
God damn this was a fun game. I hated the 3D update of this ... I just wanted to play the original game god damn it!
