I like how little mention is made of the fact that ostensibly every employee -- from stewardess to security guard -- would have to carry a controller to set off the EMD bracelet in case of attack in order for the device to actually be useful. Given that, the odds an innocent person would be accidentally paralyzed if this device took off seem pretty good.
Also, what are the odds it would make you shit yourself?
Because you'll be hearing this message over the intercom as soon as you're seated:
*BING, BING!*
*WARNING*
"Please refrain from removing your "Safety Bracelet " until you have reached your final destination.
Removal of bracelet will result in detonation of the microbe explosives that were injected into the carotid arteries at the check-in counter.
A clean up fee of ,250 dollars will be automatically charged to the decease's family members or relatives account after detonation has occurred.
Also after a detonation, the decease's family members and/or relatives will be brought in for questioning by Homeland Security for being associates with the decease terrorist.
Thank you for flying with United Airlines and have a wonderful terror-free day! "
"Biometric systems often overlook the fact that a man is wearing one of those head-towels. If we could make a machine that automatically stunned Arabs, we would"
"Now here's more stock video of Airports From The Seventies And Eighties"
Uhhh...so the crew has time to key in the special code for each individual passenger/terrorist rushing them, or pressing the remote automatically just nukes the nervous system of everyone on board?
When the fuck was this video made? They seem to refer to 2003 in the future tense and 9/11 in the past tense, but the graphics all seem to be from 1992. Anger + Confusion - Boring = 3'd
