The intro was fine, but the cinematics in the game were awkwardly placed and really took you out of the game, more so than enhancing it. The real crime, though, was those awful new endings that took away the wonderful, vague simplicity of CTs original endings.

Really, the only point of the new endings was to tie the game to Chrono Cross. In one ending (spoiler) King Crono is murdered by Lynx. (spoiler)

one of the great things about having no anime or cinematics in the original verison of chrono trigger was that you could largely ignore akira toriyama's hideous character design. not so with the psx version.
also is it just me or does this intro music actually sound worse than it did on the snes?

Nice to see actual animation of the CT crew, but this shouldn't have replaced the original intro, it should have been included as an extra or something. Can't improve on perfection.

Quad9Damage - 2008-12-10 Not only did they animate Ayla with a club, but Frog is in the party during the battle with Zombor on the bridge. Someone forgot that during that part of the game Frog is on the OTHER SIDE of the bridge and not a playable character.
