I love this game's soundtrack. Gives me chills.

Also, most of the mutation scenes were amazingly gruesome.

I played this game for hours until my playstation decided to freeze for the first time ever. I hadn't saved in about 3 hours, i put the game down and never looked back. -1 for bad memories

Wouldn't really call it an RE clone since there were no zombies and the combat was turn based. Good intro. Game was merely OK, in my opinion. It had a good plot and some strong elements, but the game was just too fucking hard. The create-your-own-ammo system was interesting, but they made too many bosses who simply had immunity to so many things that you wound up in these Vagrant Story-style situations where you were fucked and had to use your weakest weapons to take on bosses because you accidentally chose a bad ammo or some shit. Too many cheap deaths in that game.

You're all crazy. This game was awesome (last truly great game Square made) and the sequel was boring derivative Resident Evil clone garbage.
