Binro the Heretic Tying this one to the Michael Myers slasher flick series was a mistake, but they were stupid and greedy.
StanleyPain Not really. Debra Hill and John Carpenter wanted to turn Halloween into an anthology series where each movie was a different Halloween themed horror story. They no longer wanted to do the Myers story, so they left after this one when it became obvious the anthology idea would never work since the rights owners wanted to go back to Myers with part 4.
Lurchi This movie is absurd even by 80's horror standards. Irish industrialist steals Stonehenge rock to make computer chips to put in Halloween masks that make insects come out of people's heads. Bad character actors investigate.
cognitivedissonance When viewed in the same mindset as "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", this film suddenly takes on a glorious glow.
BHWW A decent idea, but they totally blew it in the execution except for a few small bits with the sinister company head played by Dan O'Herlihy.
"Halloween, the festival of Samhain! The last great one took place three thousand years ago, when the hills ran red with the blood of animals and children."
