So there's a letter in my local paper today, saying that Obama is a monster for suggesting kids should learn other languages. Also calls the idea of kids learning a second language in school "Orwellian." I hate this town.
That...doesn't even make sense...I think Orwell mentioned non-English languages once or twice. Is that what they meant?
