I was expecting something more. Not that he's untalented or anything - far from it, I know what he's doing is technical and dandified, I just dont like about 1:20 of the song in any musical aspect whatsoever, but I do like when it picks up at the end.

I'm more concerned with the six musicians in the back not being properly miced. They may have lent the piece the depth it so desperately needed.

There's no excuse, but "Jaco Pastorious Shreds" had me going for a full minute, because I assumed it was a post mental-collapse performance, and the band/crowd was being quiet out of shock and sympathy.

I still prefer the Clapton shreds. I think the overall humour of these things depends heavily on the ego of the person being mocked.
