This is one of the most Engrish things I've ever seen

snothouse - 2008-07-25

"Bat Blue"
"Lick Joe"

heyitslozeau - 2008-07-25

Gogodun dadoon

Magical Man from Happy-Land - 2008-07-25

Japanese-English translators must have been very expensive in the 90's

Rafiki - 2008-07-25

Is his name Bat Blue or Bad Blue? The game couldn't decide.

And I think BOGODOON GOGOON is going to be my new sound effect for beating people up.

baleen - 2008-07-25

"reckless drivers, pearl divers, sandwich makers, tenement sweepers, deep fryers, and polaks."

a flaming monkey - 2008-07-25

This game was impossible, the enemy would hit you even if you weren't on the same plane as them. Periodically, a deranged woman with a knife would step into the arena and randomly shank the combatants.

Dr. Lobotomy - 2008-07-25

I'd beat up reckless drivers and general business men too if it meant I'd be dubbed "No.1 Quarreler".

Have to admit that a fighting a fucking tiger as a bonus stage is infinitely more bad ass than all those bricks, barrels, cars and whatever other crap other fighting games had you break.

Also, does the announcer say: "Fright!"?

chumbucket - 2008-07-25

I don't think "star dust punch" sound very threatening. Maybe it makes a BOGODOON *BLING* sound when it contacts

BillFisto - 2008-07-25

I have seen heaven, and it is 1950s America.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-07-25

First Rule of Violence Fight: Never stop bouncing up and down.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-07-25

I didn't know the 1950s were so dangerous. I had the opposite impression.

lolcoolj - 2008-07-25

In the bonus stage, you fight.....A FUCKING TIGER??

Cleaner82 - 2008-07-25

There's very little I wouldn't do for the mantle of "No. 1 Quarreler".

Bat Blue was born in 1938 which puts him somewhere between 12 and 17.

bopeton - 2008-07-28

Good catch.

Testicles of Doom - 2008-07-25

An awful lot of mullets for the 1950s.

Xenocide - 2008-07-25

As opposed to its less intense prequel, Peaceful Fight, which was just confusing.

FeeFiFoFoTheFifeFifeBrown - 2008-07-25

I hope to one day be able to say that I bogooned Lick Joe.

LetsFistAgain - 2008-07-26

Also you know it's 1950's America when a man named Lei Chen wearing a Kung Fu sash is quite obviously portrayed by a white man.

erection reset by queer - 2008-07-26

You know it's 1950's America when the World Trade Center is prominently displayed.

King of Balls - 2008-09-27

In L.A., too.

I'd love for my ROM of this game to work right.

Steve Airport - 2008-08-25

What the hell kind of bonus stage is this??

soci-o-path - 2008-10-17

"Mafia, reckless drivers, and general businessmen."

Which is on par with:

"Terrorist hijak airliner. Some American are on plane."

Though I forget which game that was from.

fluffy - 2008-11-18

Adam Carolla mentioned this game in the famous clip where LoveLine got All Your Base'd. I thought he was making it up.

fluffy - 2009-07-08

I was also pleasantly pleased to find that a copy of Taito Arcade Classics I got included this game. It is horrible.

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2008-11-19

The tiger is a stroke of genius

MerryMisanthrope - 2008-12-18

"Oh not the jeeps no Bat we ain't goin' that route please"
