That's how he sounded in the movie.

The whole Joker as a new goth/emo/goofy white boy fad is already old. However, this is really funny, and pretty much exactly what he sounds like in the movie.

I actually missed part of the plot because of this. Still kicked ass though.

I'm surprised they managed to hang onto that joke all the way to the end.

I wasn't sure why they even did this, batman sounds notwhere near that bad in the first movie and then gets throat cancer in the second one?

Nothing I enjoy more than a 30 second joke done in 3 minutes. WHAT ARE MORE WAYS OF SAYING HE CAN'T UNDERSTAND HIM, GUYS?

I got the joke in the first 5 seconds.

It's like a seed that's delicious, but if it you let it grow into a plant it tastes disgusting.

The joke isn't that Batman's incomprehensible - that's the premise. The humor comes from the Joker's exasperation increasing until he is furious at Batman's hindrance of his own mission. You see, the Joker ends up being angry that Batman is doing a bad job of opposing Batman and eventually is struggling to help his nemesis defeat him. That's the joke. Do you see now?
