Surrealism is better when you are trying to sell something with it.

I can see how the whole Internet is just a plot concieved by ADs who just want to do wannabe-artsy crap and still get paid.

I lost it at the cat and basically cried for the rest of the commercial in sheer joy.

Have you ever had a dream with a dwarf in it? Do you know anyone who's had a dream with a dwarf in it? No! I don't even have dreams with dwarves in them. The only place I've seen dwarves in dreams is in stupid movies like this! "Oh make it weird, put a dwarf in it!". Everyone will go "Woah, this must be a fuckin' dream, there's a fuckin' dwarf in it!". Well I'm sick of it! You can take this dream sequence and stick it up your ass!
zato, that scene was exactly what I was thinking when I watched this.

I like how even the midget fisher king is weirded out by the things going on around him.
|heyitslozeau - 2008-08-16 |
it's amazing how hard they're trying to be weird just to tap into that "random" sense of humor thats so obnoxious these days.
that random sense of humor has a name, it's called absurdism, and it's been around for over a century.

ad companies make these types of ads because today's generation is to cynical and savvy to be duped by traditional ads where they just talk up a product...
so I wonder what are ad companies going to do now that this style is wearing out its welcome.
murder people on film with the product being advertised
viral snuff, eh? hmmm I can see it now
