StanleyPain Oblivion has hundreds of NPCs (if not thousands) and Bethesda hired about 5 people to voice them all.
Cleaner82 Same people as the previous game. They're competent, and I wish them all the best and a steady paycheck, but geeze already.
StanleyPain I'm guessing what we hear in those Fallout 3 videos we should all get used to for 100+ hours of gameplay.
Squeamish Actually, Oblivion has less voice actors than the original Morrowind.
And Fallout 3 is apparently going to use the same voice actors that Oblivion used.
Bethseda is very afraid of change.
Cleaner82 Wugh, I will love it anyway surely but come the fuck on.
Syd Midnight They blew their entire voice acting budget on 3 minutes of Patrick Stewart. That was a good 3 minutes, but the other 800 voices suck. They really should have let fans sign a waiver and submit readings.
StanleyPain It would certainly be better than the current "rumor" system which kinda went nowhere. Wasn't it originally intended for revealing side-quests and things like that, but instead turned into even the most evil villains saying things like "I HEAR THEY MAKE GREAT BREAD AT THAT ONE SHOP?"
Desidiosus An appreciation of the culinary arts should not just be limited to heroes.
