Only release information I could find for this is that it's on the Supremes retro from 2001. Any idea which Temps lineup this is? Sounds like Dennis singing lead so I'm thinking 70s era?
I did a little digging. This came off of the May 1974 Anthology album for Diana Ross & The Supremes.
According to wiki, the active menbers of The Temptations in 1974 were alternating lead singers Dennis Edwards, Richard Street, and Damon Harris, as well as perpetual member Otis Williams and Melvin Franklin (Until 1995 or so).
This would have been the sort of sound on the Heavenly and You've Got My Soul on Fire albums.
