Bad for the lack of creativity.
Hilariously bad due to the writing.

Delusions of originality and creativity are fun to mock, but too depressing to watch for an HOUR AND A GODDAMN HALF.

The critics just didn't get his vision.
Like all great artists, he's unappreciated in his time.
Its part of the statement he's making about art and society.
You're supposed to think its a complete waste of time and self-indulgent bullshit.
You have to be at a higher level of intellectual and creative understanding to truly grasp its purpose.

I was all ready to be the devil's advocate here, but this really is painfully bad. +1 for being vaguely visually compelling, but I will never watch this again, nor mention it to anyone for as long as I live.

This is no way to watch a feature film anyway.
