This show is great, and the "wrongful death" google ad makes it all the better.

Huh. Hank even referenced the "jumping off the roof in a batman costume" death in the season finale of the third season.

The amount of depth in this show is really quite surprising. Even the little details turn out to be so much huger then implied at first.

I would like to know how many times Brock Samson had to step in and kill the remaining clone to preserve the lie of them being the original boys. I would get fed up with that job too, if every morning i had to sit across the breakfast table from someone i murdered with my bare hands a half dozen times.

5 stars for making me think about that.

I've always wondered why he was so protective of two kids who he had seen get replaced a dozen times over.

I wonder how much time Dr. Venture and Brock spent laughing over the William Tell deaths.
Corman's Inferno - 2008-09-11
Yeah, this is hilarious, but my favorite part is that it implies Rusty isn't a complete failure because he managed to create a system that makes identical copies of the boys (until Hank destroyed it).

As Doctor Orpheus, a necromancer, sits there utterly HORRIFIED by them.

I love how he's the most likable one of the lot.

Q: Is Venture Brothers the greatest cartoon ever?

A: Yes.

A2: Corollary to answer one: this definitely includes all anime ever including ones not yet made.
Caminante Nocturno - 2008-09-11
You know, Gurren Lagann makes Venture Brothers look like a pile of crap.

And I say that as someone who likes Venture Brothers.

No one is better than Kamina sama.

Caminante, I know your obsession with anime sometimes makes discussing entertainment with you roughly parallel to having a conversation with a pedophile about what type of sex is best, but my extreme love of the Venture Brothers compels me to say that your comparison is more retarded and mishapen than a crack addled thalidomide baby.

On one hand you have a smartly written, complex and hilarious parody of Boy's Own-esque Hannah-Barbera adventure cartoons that has transcended its original premise to become a fully developed and coherent work of art. On the other you have another fucking Japanese show about kids piloting robots.

Now if you'll excuse me, my beard is itching and I have a basement to resume dwelling in.

You can't talk unless you've seen both, and I have.

You clearly haven't.

Your opinion is of lesser value.
