This movie is wonderful.
I just don't know if this clip belongs here.
Thus, No rating.
The songs, at least, would have earned a rating.

My sister never forgave me for taking her to this movie. In my defense, I had no idea what it was about. I just like Bjork.

anything with Bjork. Instant Five.

anything with Bjork claiming she's Czech when her accent is clearly not.... Instant Five.

anything with Bjork claiming she's Czech when her accent is clearly not and she's trying to afford an operation to save for an operation for her son to not also go deaf... Instant Five.

anything with Bjork claiming she's Czech when her accent is clearly not and she's trying to afford an operation to save for an operation for her son to not also go deaf and then seeing Peter Stormare singing--or was he? Instant Five.

So...Instant Five.

I love this movie, but as with "Brazil" I have to steel myself before I can watch it. If I'm not in an absolutely good mood, this puts me into a deep funk.

Damn, it is awesome, though.

I must confess I like Lars von Trier better when his heroines are not semiretarded and get to take revenge on the entire world.

This is a fucking amazing movie. You all need to go see it right now.

Lars von Trier knows only two notes: Fetishistic illustrations of horribly victimized women, and (the slightly less irritating) poking his finger in the eye of American culture. Fantastically overrated.
