The beauty of it is you actually gain some measure of sympathy and understanding for her by the end of the game.

Even in spite of it having been rushed so badly by LA (I hold Lucas personally responsible), I still love this game to death. Sure, it's basically Planescape: Torment in the SW universe, but who cares; Avellone can beat that horse into a fine red mist if he wants, as long as he makes more games like these.
