All this stuff makes me embarrassed for some reason.

CharlesSmith - 2008-09-25

Aaw. I was expecting McCain himself trying to explain the 'reasoning' behind this move.

Merzbau - 2008-09-25

If America falls for this fucking horseshit I will...be depressed and drink a lot and America will suck for at least four years. Sigh.

Ursa_minor - 2008-09-25

I'm right there with you.

DMKA - 2008-09-25

Ditto.

Cap'n Profan!ty - 2008-09-25

They will try anything to steal this election. Do you seriously think anyone wants questions to be asked honestly?

Frank Rizzo - 2008-09-25

Who wants to go to Adams Morgan and get shit faced?

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-09-25

Doesn't that seem kind of...

... Oh, I don't know...

... Elitist?

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-09-25

What a fucking pansy.

homohabilis - 2008-09-25

i would love to see mccain "no-show" the debate.

HankFinch - 2008-09-25

That sure is a four second sentence nine times too long

spencer - 2008-09-25

ah. see, now it just seems like they're trying to postpone the trouncing biden is sure to lay upon palin for as long as humanly (or reptiloidily) possible.

Camonk - 2008-09-25

Since I am desperate to see her torn apart on TV for my enjoyment, this makes me extremely angry!

zatojones - 2008-09-25

"delay it to another time... preferably after the elections"

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-09-25

It just occurred to me that life is not copying the plot of Chris Rock's Head of State. EXACTLY.

fatatty - 2008-09-25

I can already hear Sean Hannity telling his sheep how strong McCain is for doing this and how cowardly Obama is for avoiding the economic crisis. Because of course without McCain's expert economic advice there would be no way to resolve the crisis.

CornOnTheCabre - 2008-09-25

I think his basic plan of action is to put on his Keating Five gloves and bury the economy completely, then we will all have to sell our televisions and computers for food, and we wont be ABLE to watch the debates!

Its a perfect plan, he just needs a LITTLE bit more time.

simon666 - 2008-09-25

The Obama argument needs to be this: See the McCain side is unprepared to be president because they cannot handle both campaigning and the current economic issues at once. To be President one does not have the luxury of having one thing at a time to deal with. The President has a full plate, and my (Obama's) campaign has no problem doing both.

Desidiosus - 2008-09-25

I think it is that already. Obama already made a statement to the effect of how the president needs to be able to do more than one thing at a time.

And I don't know about anyone else, but I stopped worrying the minute McCain announced his suspension. That was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in presidential politics, and I can't see any way to make it not look ridiculous.

TeenerTot - 2008-09-25

Yeah, I get the feeling they're just trying to put off the VP debate.
But hey, if he wants the pres. debates in my home town, I'll dig up my Rick Astley tape.

dueserpenti - 2008-09-25

Someone should tell McCain he's running for president of The United States of America, not The Chickenhearted Crybaby Losers Club.

aeso - 2008-09-25

The debates should continue as planned with the role of John McCain played by a broom with a hat on the end.

TeenerTot - 2008-09-25

That's stupid. I've never seen mcCain wear a hat.

charmlessman - 2008-09-25

Goddamn it!!
I have a debate party planned for this Friday!!
McCain is ruining my party!!! That ASSHOLE!!
