Ron Paul endorses a completely unfettered free market with the exception of not allowing people to hire contracted Mexican workers, which is actually part of the free market since the market value of their labor is what they are willing to work for. If picking apples was worth $10 an hour and not $20 a day, that's what they would be paid.

Now he is saying that he blames a completely unfettered free market for the corruption that we're experiencing. This is the way a free market is supposed to work, but libertarians and Republicans have always been fond of blaming something other than their own system when it goes awry and all the people who got fat pilfering are long gone and sunning themselves in Barbados. My favorite scapegoat from the right is that this metldown was started by community organizers. Coincidentally Barack Obama was a community organizer.

Everybody said the housing market was collapsing but OH NO WE CAN'T REGULATE or else we're socialists. Whatever. Ronald Reagan did it, George Bush did it, and most likely the buying houses like lottery tickets party will win again, eventually.
