I'm not sure if Dave is doing this to highlight the fact that McCain's SUSPENDING MY CAMPAIGN TO SOLVE THE ECONOMIC CRISIS stunt as a ridiculous attempt to inject his campaign into the solving of the crisis, or his own vanity, but I approve. I have never know Letterman to be anything but self deprecating except when he was totally shafted by NBC for the tool Leno.
Also Shchaefer is awesome, because he is a weird, small, bald, strange man and an amazing musician. If you can't appreciate it then I guess you can go watch an episode of Dirty Sexy Money.
