A good debate, although I'm sure the heavy focus on policy facts and details wore some viewers down.
Both demonstrated a clear and commanding grasp of the issues. But I think only one of them demonstrated good judgment and principles in how they would apply that knowledge.
Well, McCain did a lot of fist-pumping and the whole 'white flag of surrender' makes me want to punch him. But this debate was still a thousand times better than anything with Bush or Palin could ever be. McCain is an asshole, but he's actually smart and knows some shit.
In this debate McCain says Obama is wrong about Kissinger supporting diplomacy with our adversaries. McCain says something like 'my friend for a long time, dr kissinger, would love to hear that, because that is not the case.'
THEN in the Palin, Biden debate, Palin says roughly: I had a long talk with Kissinger, and he is right we need diplomacy...
These two fucking liars. Someone needs to edit the two debate clips together ASAP.
