Are these guys part of a respected Republican thinktank or something?

I'd just like to point out that expectations of Palin are so low at this point that if Palin comes out of this thing without having stuck her foot in her mouth and just chewed for an hour instead of delivering rebuttals, people will think she performed above expectations.
I'm also, somewhat cynically, expecting this VP debate to be more watched then the first President Debate was.
Expect her to say this a lot, "Senator Biden has a lot of attacking to do, but I'd rather stick to the issues." She'll just kind of smile a lot and act dumb, but she'll act dumb JUST LIKE YOU AND ME.
I don't think it will work that well, because Biden can out working class talk anybody out there. He can make a machinest weep over a housing bill.
That won't work after she and McCain said at the RNC that this election was "NOT ABOUT THE ISSUES."
It won't work simply because she said something completely contradictory before? Umm.....
Also, she outlined her debate strategy here:
"It's time that normal Joe six-pack American is finally represented in the position of vice presidency, and I think that that's kind of taken some people off guard, and they’re out of sorts, and they’re ticked off about it"
Its so damn stupid, it makes my head hurt.

Here's what's really going to happen at he debates:
In order to keep the focus off Palin and her mush-brain, she will be undoubtedly trained to, instead of trying to give real answers to the questions, go on the aggressive and violently attack Biden, even if the attacks are ridiculous. This will put Biden on the defensive and rather than get any attempt to make any kind of useful, policy-detailing answers, Biden will have to waste his time defending himself against attack phrases and such.
I'm betting this is how it will go down. She will deflect things away from herself with this proven tactic. If she DOES give an answer, it will likely be one of those rambling, Katie Couric Interview type answers that covers a lot of buzzwords, but lacks any real substance as this is a proven political technique for making an audience "construct" your answer for you in their heads, which is effectively what she is good at.

Is this conservative humor?
It's funny! That's what makes me wonder.
They aren't really conservative. They make fun of both sides, kinda like the Daily Show used to, back when it was funny. John Stewart fellating Obama isn't funny.

How bad will this skit be?
|DMKA - 2008-10-01 |
Ugh, I couldn't make it past five seconds.
|Desidiosus - 2008-10-01 |
This is ridiculously overboard, Cena.
You know as well as I do that once these guys finish their skits they get cleaned up, put on their Armani suits and have their chauffeurs drive them home to their 15-bedroom mansions. They then spend the rest of the evening sipping cappuccino and discussing their status as elite media figures.
