Military guy kinda sounds like Popeye at times.
Possibly my favourite Jet Li flick. This isn't even the best fight scene in the movie.
Jet Li is one of the very few dudes who could make kicking another guy's ass with a belt entirely believable.

What this clip reveals is that japan has poor construction standards. Everything falls apart in that house. -1 for the weaklings punches making this last a bit longer than it should have.
The movie takes place in China. Which I guess makes your point even more relevant.
This movie was my introduction to Jet Li, and the beginning of a lifelong love affair.
