This is a joke right? Filtering vodka through diamonds?

Binro the Heretic - 2008-10-02

I will buy it for the bottle alone.

I'll dump out the vodka and fill it with rum.

I remember when "Ghostbusters" came out, Aykroyd and Bill Murray were on some talk show together. Aykroyd broke out this old picture he said he inherited from his grandfather and supposedly was a photo of a real ghost. He started talking about the spirit world and such. Murray started dicking with him. The two went back and forth about it and it was hilarious. I thought the whole thing had been staged.

Then I found out Aykroyd really does believe in all that shit.

baleen - 2008-10-02

I think this will probably do pretty well... Diamond filtering.

dr_rock - 2008-10-02

Probably, just because the target audience is retarded. But really, what could that possibly achieve, to pour vodka over diamonds? I guess people love that shit though... look at Goldwasser / Goldschlager.

His performance is perfect, btw.

Cleaner82 - 2008-10-02

If thinking vodka in a crystal skull is the best idea ever is retarded, take me to the retard house for I am a full-blown retard. I would buy a dozen of these and put them on a special shelf. I could throw them like bombs in emergencies.

Billie_Joe_Buttfuck - 2008-10-02

It's just a form of carbon filtering.

RandomFerret - 2008-10-09

Silica filtering. "Herkimer diamonds" are really just a type of very pure quartz.

Comrade Admiral - 2008-10-02

Nothing but love here.

A few times throughout the video, he seems almost imperceptibly close to breaking into a giggle fit.

Aoi - 2008-10-03

I want a bottle of crystal head vodka.

I don't even drink.

B. Weed - 2008-10-03

Neither do I, but that bottle's wonderful.

Isn't vodka used as a base for vanilla extract and the like?

baleen - 2008-10-03

Should you buy one simply for the container I would like to relieve you of its contents, if I may.

Camonk - 2008-10-03

Also volunteering my services to render aid in safely and responsibly disposing of the contents of the bottle. It's an important task, and we can all chip in.

RandomFerret - 2008-10-09

Guys, you don't want to do that. Have you tasted his wine?

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-10-03

Dan Akroyd is one Hell of a salesman.

Ranma X. - 2008-10-03

It's been a long strange trip since the Bass-o-matic.

FangoftheCobras - 2008-10-03

Read the book!

TeflonDoc - 2008-10-03

Finally, a celebrity vodka marketed at me!

zatojones - 2008-10-03

cool bottle

chairsforcheap - 2008-10-03

- one star for him not taking a swig and saying "Mmmm, that's good skull!"

+ one star for batshititude

Koda Maja - 2008-10-03

This one ad is better than the entirety of Indianna Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Rudy - 2008-10-03

Am I the only one who thought he was going to say "As a child, I was always fascinated by vodka..."?

thatonegirl - 2008-10-03

So...would this fit in my purse?

Binro the Heretic - 2008-10-03

Uh-oh, rumor has it this is part of a viral marketing campaign for a new "Ghostbusters" movie.

Damn it! I wanted one of those skull bottles! :(

Hooper_X - 2008-10-05

http://www.napacabs.com/Crystal-Head-Vodka-750ml-Dan-Aykroyd-P4375 .aspx

That appears to be legit.

YakooMarkTwo - 2009-04-24

Oh this stuff. very cool bottle, obviously and pretty good, as far as I can tell. I don't like vodka much, so to me, the best vodka is the kind you don't taste at all if possible. It also reallllly stuck up on me.

Hooper_X - 2009-07-30

UPDATE: Liquor store near me has this. Will pick some up in near future.
