I think I'm going to suggest "Pollster" to Dirty Jobs. Frank Luntz and those like him have to be some of the filthiest people in the world.

I'm glad they did their little rant at the end. I reminds me why they suck so much.
Luntz is a tool who has been caught planting participants in focus groups before. But this show is all about taking an obvious point and presenting it in a simplified, one-sided way. They're just as full of Bullsh!t as the people they criticize, its just that they happen (most of the time) to be on the right side of a fairly straightforward issue.
Sometimes its obvious, like psychics and abstinence. Other times its irreverent like lesbian dates and pets care. Other times its not debunking anything, like endangered species and Wal-mart.
My point is that even though they are sometimes right or have interesting info, they are not only as biased and narrow minded as the people they criticize, but also annoying jackasses who rape puppies just to give them AIDS.

Nice touch with the drive-by insult.

This should be required viewing in every statistics and social research methods class - you can do the best sampling job imaginable, but you're only going to get the responses your research instrument is designed to gather.

This guy is too eager to say 'bullshit,' thereby becoming a bullshit artist himself. Sure, partisan Luntz-style polls are manipulative and basically worthless, but non-partisan polling is used every day to get a rough idea of what people are thinking. It's not perfect, but it gives a rough indication of popular sentiment. How else do we know the majority of Americans disapprove of Bush at this point, except through non-partisan polling? Should we just pretend like we can't know that? That's what this show implies. Polling in the last congressional election predicted voters would put Democrats in control again. I guess where polling often goes wrong is where its extremely close, like the Obama/Clinton contest, or now the Obama/McCain contest. Two stars for swearing though.
