The best part about this movie was that when you wanted to go out in the back yard and play Superman, you could all be Superman, except you could also be evil. It really fixed the balance issues in the game.

Best scene of the movie. Unfortunately, as a rite of passage with turning 40, I've had to finally admit to myself that Superman II is a terrible, terrible movie. Watching the 'Richard Donner Cut' really sealed it for me. Godawful. But Dammit, Terence Stamp! And Ursa, who I met at a con and got to touch, fulfilling so many adolescent dreams, even though she was wearing a fanny-pack at the time. It's a movie that everyone wants to be good, but unlike Blade Runner, every re-cut just makes it worse. Sigh.
