Killer Instinct is the greatest game ever made!!1!!!
Bag o'shite.

a flaming monkey
"It's practically no fun at all..."
KI always struck me as very... wooden in comparison to it's contemporaries. I can't be any more specific then that.
Unmerciful Crushing Force
KI was shit. It was really only noteworthy and popular for it's then-noverl 3d graphics and for being one of the first fighting games to really put emphasis on the combos and being able to get multi-hit extravaganzas.
Mike Tyson?!
Does this guy even like video games? It's like he got this job on accident.
Yeah it's almost as if it's a parody or something.

Spit Spingola
I like Killer Instinct mannish looking ladies.
Dr. Lobotomy
KIG was a huge letdown, Nintendo and Rare had hyped it as a combination of both KI1 and KI2 with extra stuff but all we got was a watered-down version of KI2.

Even cut out the variable endings that depended on whether you had killed or spared rival/allied characters.

That said, what is the point of these Clinton Years reviews? He refers to "we" several times, he has a whole crew working on these bland things?
5 stars for the review, but also 5 stars for one of the biggest letdowns in console game history.
Indeed. There was definitely no pot at the end of it's bloodstream.

Caminante Nocturno
B. Orchid is a very powerful-looking lady!
"The camera isn't utilized very well. The gameplay is in 3D. It's practically no fun at all."

It's like there's just all these little scraps of paper on the ground that constitute his script, and he just picks up the scraps at random and reads them.
5 stars for a video game nerd decrying violence in video games.
I liked killer instinct :( I wouldnt have played it on the 64 though. KI2 on the snes is where it's at.

Still, amost any other sprite based vs fighting game beats it, including mugen.
