Reminds me of the old Felix the Cat cartoons I used to watch as a kid.
The Depression spectre flying over a 3D earth looks like something the Fleischers would've done.
And I spotted Fred (Tex) Avery in the animator's credits.
As it turned out, drugs were the answer all along.
Then they found out about the AIDS.
Walt Disney created Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, but got in a tiff with Carl Laemmle, and his revenge was running off, giving Oswald round ears and a long tail, and then castrating himself.
