My point is that laws banning gay marriage don't discriminate. The law applies equally for homos and heteros. If the law says marriage is Man/woman only then that law works for homos and heteros. Both homos and heteros will be able to marry a member of the opposite sex.
This ad tries to make it seem like the law discriminates, yet it doesn't.

That's pretty cool logic. So a law that prevents women from voting would equally affect everybody. Women can't vote and men aren't women so they aren't prevented from being unable to not vote.

2) My reaction to the princess ad was "aww isn't that cute" so I kind of don't see why the anti-prop 8 people even need to advertise. I think no ad is going to change anyone's mind on this issue and all the ads serve to do is remind people that it's up for vote.
