Unsung I was trying to avoid all info about this game cause I wanted to judge the game for myself, but seriously? A wacky black sidekick? An unecessary female counterpart? Fuck this game.
Xenocide Yahtzee just had so much to work with in this one, in no small part because of the game pulling idiotic shit like that. It amazes me that someone actually thought to themselves "What Silent Hill 4 was missing was ROMANCE!"

I do have another question. How can you actually find Japanese horror games scary? Fatal Frame was so unscary that it actually made me less scared of several other things. I'm no longer arachnophobic for instance.
KnowFuture Yahtzee really needs to make with the Cutscene Theatre bits more often...not TOO often though or those dorks at the Escapist will find some way to fuck it up.

Jeriko-1 He should also mention that screwing up an attack will fucking KILL you. Mistiming means the monsters dodge and get a super combo counter-attack.
And I mean Akuma style cheap shots that drain your health bar.

The game itself runs fine on single core machines... However the cutscenes are specifically designed for dual cores and up. Meaning that people who didn't read the box will wonder what the fuck happened when the otherwise smooth running game horfed and locked up when the cutscene came around.
Very, very sloppy coding. There is no reason with the right tweaking this game could not have run on a beefy single core rig.
