This is actually my favorite part of the whole story. When they realized they had to "donate" them in order to avoid violating tax laws, they announced it without telling Palin.

Why is that awesome? Because now she has to pay ,000 in taxes on the clothes in order to be able to donate them.

Of course, she'll probably just bill the Alaskan taxpayers for it, like everything else in her life.
