This is actually a report from Taiwan about Korea. It says all this takes place in Seoul. All the signs are in Korean and the people at the market are speaking Korean.
All this appears to be done undercover, because dogmeat is illegal on Korea. In China, it's a featured winter dish served in many upscale restaurants. It tastes like really low grade beef. Like the kind in Dinty Moore stew.

TeenerTot It's not totally arbitrary. The reason dog is "man's best friend" is because they have the same social needs that we have. Any animal cruelty turns my stomach. But it takes a special kind of evil to abuse an animal with the same vulnerabilities as our own.

The grandma video was awesome. They used almost all of the dog, and it shows a lot of people getting enjoyment out of the meat, so you get the feeling all that cruelty wasn't a complete waste.

I lol'd when he was dragging the dog around by it's ears then jammed it into that wire case thing with the other dogs. It's incredible how they pretty much treat dogs exactly like we treat chickens here.
Minus one star for that dog at 3:05-3:08 though, cause it made me baawwwww a bit. ;_;

This made me really sad. They shouldn't be treating dogs that way. Also, no one should be treating live stock the way they are.
Cows, pigs and chickens may not be as smart or as lovable as a dog but that doesn't mean they should be treated in a manor as bad or worse as the dogs in this video.
We can't stop what they do to living things on the other side of the world but you can do something about what happens in your own country. Think about what you eat.

to everybody too scared to watch the video - they don't kill the dogs in the video. Sure, they keep some in cages and poor living conditions, and they do show some dogs already butchered in a farmer's market situation, but it's not, in and of itself, some awful dog snuff film. You'll live.
