Brian Dewan is amazing.
Miskimo - 2008-11-18
Yeah, this should have a Brian Dewan tag. This is one of many campaign songs he played on public access (http://www.dailygusto.com/blog/archives/music/000454.php), this one stands out though.

Yeah he did. Anyone know what the fuck that "thing" is?

charmlessman - 2008-11-18
It's an autoharp.

rev.dinosaur - 2008-11-18
He plays it with a walker as a stand.

charmlessman - 2008-11-18
Wow. He's got a serious boner for Jimmy Carter, doesn't he?

Y'know, judging from the video and audio quality, I'd say this was made in the mid to late 90s at the earliest.

So... who wants to tell him Jimmy Carter isn't president any more?
Jeff Fries - 2008-11-18
Awesome troll, name gave it away tho

charmlessman - 2008-11-18
I was trolling?

baleen - 2008-11-18

It's actually a great song. It reminds me of They Might Be Giants' president songs.
panipuri - 2008-11-18
the song is by some dude from the documentary off the charts. pretty good documentary about people who send their song lyrics to the companies who advertise in the back of magazines. Also there was a clip posted of the guy who wrote this song.

Mister James K. Polk, Napoleon of the Sun

Definitely the finest autoharpist I've ever heard, backhanded complement not intended.

He lost it after Teenager of the Year, though.
